What is the TAACCCT Grant Program?

Ocean County College is one of 13 community colleges in New Jersey who have been awarded the TAACCCT Grant (Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College & Career Training Grant), which is funded through the Department of Labor. Through this grant, Ocean County College is able to expand and improve upon their ability to deliver career training programs that will help job seekers get the skills they need for in-demand jobs in the field of health care. The three primary fields include Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, and Medical Office Specialist (which includes training in Medical Billing & Coding, Administrative Medical Assistant, and Electronic Health Records).
