Medical Careers Institute’s Newport News campus is easily accessible from most anywhere on the Virginia Peninsula. It’s located just off Interstate 64 at the J. Clyde Morris Boulevard exit, adjacent to City Center, the area’s vibrant commerce, entertainment, and arts district.

Here, you will find a campus that has built its success on collaborative relationships. Whether its nursing, dental assisting, sonography, radiology, physical therapy, or any other program, faculty and staff members have developed meaningful partnerships with leading healthcare providers that can enhance your learning experience. These connections produce a wide range of clinical rotation opportunities which allow you to put into practice what you learn on campus.

Many of these providers play a key role on campus as well, offering valuable feedback on our programs. As members of the campus’ Academic Advisory Boards, they review curriculum and offer suggestions that help us keep our material timely and relevant.

We are proud to say that they represent a “who’s who” list of Peninsula healthcare providers which includes Bon Secours, Riverside Health, Eastern State Hospital, MD Express, Virginia Health Service, Massage Envy, and Consulate Health Care. Especially important to you, as graduation approaches, you may find they are very interested in talking with you about employment.

One last thing: here at the Newport News campus, learning takes place in a variety of settings, inside and outside the classroom. One way to be involved and have fun is to join some clubs. Here are a few that might catch your interest:
